Journey to Pumalo



On July 28, I completed an extraordinary journey to Pumalo monastery, a place of spiritual serenity nestled at an altitude of 4,035 meters above sea level. The journey was long and difficult, taking 6 to 7 hours on foot since there is no road leading there. Along the way, they walked, rested, and supported each other.                                    
What made this journey truly remarkable was not only the beauty of the occasion but also the unwavering kindness and courage of my loving friends. This was my first experience visiting Pumalo and it was unforgettable. The monastery was so peaceful and beautiful, and I feel deeply happy that my friends brought me there.

When we reached Pumalo, we prayed to GOD together. We shouted joyfully in the jungle, laughed, and enjoyed every moment. Their memories will always remain in my heart. I will never forget this journey or the friends who made it so  special.

I am truly thankful to my dear friends for helping me in everything. I will always be with you forever.

Dassiain Story.

Hindus celebrating Dassiains because it is the festival of victory of good over evil.  It is mainly celebrated to worship Goddess Durga. According to the story,  a demon named Mahishasura because very powerful.  Even the Gods Durga could not defeat him. Then Goddess Durga fought with him for nine days. On the tenth day she killed the demon. This day is called Vijaya Dashami.  It shows that truth and goodness always win over evil.  Another Story says that Lord Ram killed the demon king Ravana with the blessing of Goddness Durga. That is also remembered during Dassain. People worship Goodness Durga for nine days. On the tenth day elders put tika and jamara on the forehead of younger people. Families comes together, wear new clothes, eat delicious food, and enjoy swings and kites. It is a time of happiness, family love and blessing.
